Trouble Logging In?

What is a session cookie?

A "session cookie" is a unique string of letters and numbers that uniquely identifies your web browser to our web server. Enabling Session Cookies

FireFox 1.5

  • In the "Tools" menu, select "Options"
  • Click on the "Privacy" icon across the top (padlock symbol).
  • Select the Cookies tab
  • Tick "Allow sites to set cookies" and then tick "for the originating site only"
  • Click "OK"

Alternatively, for more detailed control:


  • On the "Cookies" tab, click on the Exceptions button
  • Type in our web site name and click "Allow for Session"
  • Click "OK" and "OK"

FireFox 1.0

  •  In the "Tools" menu, select "Options"
  • Click on the "Privacy" icon in the list on the left side.
  • Click on the '+' symbol next to the 'Cookies' heading to expand all the cookies options.
  • Click on the "Exceptions" button
  • Type in our web site name and click "Allow for Session"
  • Click "OK" and "OK"

Internet Explorer 6

  • Select the "Tools" option from your browsers menu.
  • Go to "Internet Options" which will open a new window.
  • Choose the "Privacy" tab and adjust the settings to "Medium High" or lower.
  • Click the "Apply" button.

If your browser is still refusing to accept session cookies then


  • Go back into the "Privacy" tab and click the "Advanced" button, this will open a new window.
  • Tick the "Override automatic cookie handling" and then tick the "Always allow session cookies" option.
  • Once again click "OK" followed by "Apply" to save your new settings.

Internet Explorer 5

  • Select the "Tools" option from your browsers menu
  • Go to "Internet Options" which will open a new window.
  • Choose the "Security" tab, then click on the "Internet" web content zone.
  • Adjust the security level to "Medium"
  • Click "Apply"

Alternatively

  • On the Security tab, click on "Custom Level"
  • Scroll down to "Cookies" and ensure that "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" is Enabled
  • Click "OK" followed by "Apply".

Internet Explorer 5 for Macintosh

  • Select the "Edit" option from your browsers menu,
  • Select "Preferences" which will open a new window.
  • Choose the arrow icon beside the "Receiving Files" option from the left-hand scrolling list, such that it points downwards - displaying a further list of options.
  • Click on the "Cookies" option.
  • Check the "When receiving cookies" option on the right-hand side of the window and ensure that it is NOT set to "Never Accept".
  • Click "OK" to save your new settings.

Still unable to log in?

Some third party firewall software (like Zone Alarm) block temporary session cookies. Check with the online help for your particular product and ensure eithert that session cookies are enabled for all sites, or that temporary session cookies are allowed for this site only.



Some corporate firewalls, proxy servers and anonymizers also block session cookies. Check with your technical support staff for further assistance.



If you continue to have difficulty, confirm that your password is correct. If you are unsure, click on the "Lost My Password" link on the Login form.
